The visit to Osona has been a complete success for more than 40 supporters who have shared wonderful cultural and gastronomic features of this region.
First of all, the supporters have visited the well known manufacturer of “salchichón” and “fuet” of Vic, in “Casa Riera Ordeix”, very traditional and high quality house founded in 1852.
Since 1852, Riera Ordeix is in the same place in Vic and it is there where they are curing their excellent products.
Following the tradition, the supporters have tasted the Riera Ordeix products with the “coca de sucre” (sugar cake), also very typical in this region.
Obviouly, with a fantastic cava called “Núria Claverol” from Sumarroca celler, with specifical Riedel wine glass.
After this very interesting visit, the supporters of Penya Gastronòmica Barça have visited the village of Perafita, where Ramon Besa was born, and he has welcomed all the supporters with another taste of different type of “cocas” at “Forn Franquesa”.
Fantastic visit with the explanations about the village and the region by Ramon Besa, also member of the Penya Gastronòmica Barça and very well known journalist.
Finally, a very good lunch with very tasty chickpeas with roasted pork bacon and goose with pears roasted has been enjoyed in the “Ca la Cinta” restaurant in the village of Sant Agustí de Lluçanès.
