The sixth trip of the Penya Gastronòmica Barça has been to Seville, fantastic city for enjoying gastronomy and for living an Spanish League match between Sevilla FC and FC Barcelona.

Unfortunately, on this occasion, Barcelona did not win and it’s been the first defeat of Barça team with a trip of the Penya Gastronòmica Barça members.

The supporters travelled with the same first Barça team flight, therefore they went to Seville on Friday afternoon to spend night in Andalusia.

The dinner was fantastic at “Jaylu” restaurant, very well known seafood restaurant where you can enjoy one of the best ham of the city, not only for the quality also for the different cuts. Unbelievable!

After the dinner, the supporters went to “Lola de los Reyes” tablao to enjoy the best flamenco in the andalusian capital.

On Saturday, the supporters did a wonderful “Ruta de Tapas” designed by the famous chef Dani García, owner of his 2 Michelin stars in Marbella (Málaga), member of the Penya Gastronòmica Barça and ambassador of the Penya in Andalusia.

They visited three excellent places: “Bar Yebra”, “Bodeguita Casablanca” and “Bar La Moneda”.

They have enjoyed with fantastic “frituras” (fried fish, great specialists in Andalusia), very good product such as crayfish and original “tapas”      like “tortilla de camarones con ortiguillas”, very typical in the south of Spain.

After the “Ruta de Tapas”, the supporters went to the “Sánchez Pizjuán” stadium were unfortunately lose 2-1 against Sevilla FC.

It is a pitty, but frankly speaking, the members of the Penya Gastronòmia Barça have spent fantastic time with very good quality gastronomy and also the marvelous and funny personality of people from Seville.

See you soon Seville!

Visca Barça and Gastronomy!

(You can see this video where the “Sánchez Pizjuán” stadium sings the “Arrebato” hymn).
