Seafood Restaurant “D’Berto” (O’Grove) and Celta de Vigo – Barça
The third trip of the Penya Gastronòmica Barça has been to Galicia, in order to live the match Celta de Vigo – Barça within the fixture 29 of Spanish competition “La Liga”.
Galicia is a highly appreciated place for any gourmet to enjoy the best seafood of the world.
Luckily, six members of the PGB have visited the seafood restaurant called “D’Berto” considered the best specialist at this moment, located at O’Grove in Pontevedra, at less than one hour with car from the Vigo Airport and one hour from Santiago Airport.
Many catalan people met these 6 members of the PGB in the restaurant due to we are on Easter holidays time and they chosed also this well known restaurant.
“Empanada Gallega”, seafood “salpicón”, oysters, clams, lobster, king crab, etc are some of the big specialities of Berto, the owner, and his sister Marisol as the chef.
Good wines during the fantastic lunch from D.O. Rias Baixas such as “Albamar” and “Goliardo” and also from D.O. Ribeiro “Escolma Viña de Martín” made by Luis Anxo Rodríguez Vázquez, and for the dessert a magnum bottle of Cava Torelló
As a dessert, marvelous “Filloas”, typical from Galicia, and very soft and tasty, you can look the video how they cook….
The match was not the best but it could very important when Barça gets the championship, therefore everybody will remember the incredible goal of Matthieu.
The members of the PGB came back to Barcelona with the same flight of Barça team very happy and awaiting next match.
